Gregory C. Poulos

Chief Fiduciary

An Experienced Attorney serving the Phoenix Area
Gregory Poulos counsels clients on the best strategies for accomplishing their estate planning and legacy goals. Greg starts by “Putting His Clients at Legal Ease” so that they understand the legal issues and issues they face. He does this so his clients understand their circumstances and can make better informed choices to protect their loved ones.

In representing clients, Greg often came across clients who needed independence in the fiduciaries they were appointing because no one in their circles fit the bill. Seeing an opportunity to provide those clients and others, Greg decided to become a Private Licensed Fiduciary and form Shield Fiduciary Services with Thom Von Hapsburg.

With over 30 years experience, Greg has counseled hundreds of clients, guiding them through their legal and business issues.

Greg graduated from New York University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Philosophy. As an undergraduate, he entered an accelerated degree program and received his Master in Business Administration in accounting from New York University in 1979. Greg graduated from Brooklyn Law School with his JD. After serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office, he entered private practice where he has worked ever since. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona and New York. Greg loves to teach and holds positions as an Adjunct Professor at Keller Business School and Grand Canyon University. Outside of work Greg is an avid amateur triathlete competing in traditional and off-road events of various lengths. He has competed in 5 Ironman races.

All of Greg’s work, is individualized and custom crafted for each client and their family. At the same time, Greg is conscious of the economic times and tailors his work to fit the budget of his clients whenever possible.

Greg’s core mission is to develop long-term relationships with his clients so that there is a deep level of understanding, compassion and shared vision. He hopes to bring expanded awareness of the benefits of using private fiduciary services to as many families as possible.
